TheFool's Notebook

About Me

reluctant yuppie, full-time lover, wanna-be poet. only 3 things are important in this life: art, beauty and love. all the other things in this world are necessary to survive but whoever said surviving is the same as living? i would rather die than merely survive for the rest of my life.

I should not love you…
In fact, by all other accounts, I could not love you.
Yet I long for the day when I’ll get to see you again,
The hour that I’ll get to hear your voice…
and the day when I will once again be blessed with your kiss.

I should not love you…
I could not love you…
But when I hold your hand in mine,
I forget that I’ve long been disillusioned by the idea of romance,
And end up remembering that a soft touch can indeed cure all wounds.

When I hold you,
Nothing else matters…
The past mistakes, the promises I made in the present and my cynical views on the future.

When I hold you,
I forget my past, I live for the present and I rewrite my future with visions of a tomorrow with you.

I should not love you but I could not help loving you.
Even if in the end I may regret it…
Even if the ghosts of yesterday reappears…
Even if in the end, I find myself unable to love again.

Hit me baby!
